Former President of RockStar North Is Preparing To Rival GTA

GridGames.ID – Former president of Rockstar North and main producer of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, Leslie Benzies reportedly saved USD 42 or Rp. 624 billion.

The money is not to buy a yacht or a spree, but to create a rival from GTA, namely Everywhere.

As GridGames summarizes from The Telegraph, Benzies’ new studio, Build a Rocket Boy, has received funding from its investors.

Previously, Benzies had sued the company where he worked, Take-Two Interactive for USD 150 million in unpaid royalties in 2021.

The lawsuit alleges “many fraud” on the part of Rockstar and partners Sam and Dan Houser that led to Benzies being forcibly expelled from the company.

All of these lawsuits were finally settled out of court in 2021 with claims that Benzies was given time off to celebrate the success of the GTA franchise he created.

When Benzies wanted to return to work, he could not enter the Rockstar North office because access to his office had been removed.
